I placed the whole configuration, and here’s my query. My ASUS PRIME B450M-A/CSM AM4 AMD B450 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 HDMI Micro ATX motherboard (model N82E16819113496). I’ll need four case fans plus two from a be quiet dark rock pro 4, totaling six fans. How many should I get?
You should check the specifications carefully. The board only provides two chassis fan headers, which means you'll need to install six fans across those two headers. Don't forget the CPU fan header as well.

Don't go for that motherboard right away... another option like the ASRock PRO4 B450 would be better. You might also need a fan hub later on.
I notice only three fan connections on the board, with the CPU header included. I don't prefer dividing the CPU fan unless it's paired with an AIO or dual-fan heatsink—personal opinion. For better results, consider a SATA-powered fan hub instead of using multiple splitters. If splitting is necessary, use two 3-way splitters for the chassis fan headers.
