You should start by upgrading your RAM and then replace the old SSD with a faster model. After that, consider swapping in a solid-state drive that includes cache, like the Samsung 860. Before migrating Windows, back up all data and carefully follow the cloning process to transfer your OS. Once the new components are installed, update the boot order so the new SSD is prioritized. Be sure to check the activation requirements after any changes, especially regarding hardware detection settings. This sequence will help maintain stability and avoid activation issues.

If the mobile or CPU is identical, it shouldn't trigger any issues. Also, 4GB isn't sufficient—aim for at least 8GB.

Your setup will work fine. Only the SSD and RAM get updated, which isn't a major shift. You can use Macrium Reflect Rescue USB to back up your system offline. The Rescue USB can be generated with Macrium Reflect. Start from the USB, clone the drive, connect the new one, restart, then swap back the drives once the PC is running so entries are arranged correctly—just that’s the process.
