Hey, I’m facing a big problem with the boot sequence on my PC. I have two Windows 10 setups—one on my NVMe drive that I actually use, and another on a tiny USB 3.1 stick that’s just a backup. I configured the boot order so the USB goes first, then the NVMe, but everything works fine as long as I don’t try to boot from the NVMe again. However, after rebooting, the system switched to the NVMe slot and then back to the USB slot, completely flipping the order. This is frustrating because I’ve dealt with the Gigabyte board’s software and BIOS issues since buying it. I’m hoping someone can help fix this so the boot sequence stays consistent and doesn’t change unexpectedly. Please let me know what you think!
Windows EFI will automatically favor its Windows Boot Manager. Try turning off Fast Boot in your UEFI/BIOS and observe if the issue resolves. If it persists, consider using tools like EasyUEFI or EasyBCD to remove the 'Windows Boot Manager' entry. Remember to back up your UEFI settings before making changes.
