Orange light is flashing but the system doesn't power on.
Recently my computer had some problems. At first it would shut off and restart on its own, which made me concerned. I took it to a local tech repair shop in my area. They explained that the pins on my 24-pin connector were damaged from an older motherboard (ASUS TUF X570). I bought a replacement ASUS TUF B550 Plus. When I returned it, everything seemed okay until again the issue came up, and sometimes it wouldn’t boot at all. There was also a blinking orange light on the motherboard. My family suggested bringing it back for another check-up. They tried new RAM and GPU, but the same problems persisted—sometimes it would get into BIOS but only about 10% of the time. I’m trying to figure out what might be causing this. Also, the repair staff removed part of the PSU side facing the back of the PC. That wasn’t something I’d seen before; they mentioned it was for better airflow.
AMD is facing challenges. Have you checked for a BIOS update? Consider testing additional RAM options.
The latest updates have been applied, and they experimented with various RAM configurations (Vengeance RGB). The system lights still activate for the RAM sticks even though the device isn't booting.
Consider sending a return merchandise authorization for the CPU.
