He’s in a big property with fiber optic service in a rainy rural area of Colombia. He needs reliable Wi-Fi at certain spots, some up to 1600-200 feet away. The environment is humid and rainy most of the year, making wired setups impractical due to regulations and weather. Since cables aren’t an option, we must rely on wireless solutions. Plus, solar power will be used for energy, so the system should be durable and weather-resistant. We’re looking for ideas that fit these constraints.

Ubiquiti could be the optimal choice here. Explore PtMP wireless solutions. A YouTube tutorial covers a backyard layout idea. Additional clips on the same site expand to bigger setups. Remember, power must reach each node—whether via nearby outlets or solar—since this equipment relies entirely on PoE.
