I might purchase an ASRock B450 Pro 4 and have checked its QVL list for memory, but couldn't find GSKILL or Corsair (I focused on these two due to Newegg filters and reviews). I added a 2x8GB 3200 CAS16 kit. After reviewing the QVL on the GSKILL product page, it confirmed compatibility with this motherboard. Does that mean the memory will operate at its rated speed of 3200 after updating the BIOS?

I think the processor likely won’t require an MSI Tomahawk since it probably won’t overclock much. I’m fine with adjusting RAM speed manually from stock to maximum in BIOS for better performance. I just wish there were more videos covering this subject, as it seems luck plays a big role here—especially compared to newer Zen 2 models.
Honestly, I rarely check QVL... and never faced any issues. Just purchase what's been tested on the site and build a solid brand. Ensure your BIOS is current, activate XMP, and complete the setup.
