Latest reports indicate a long waiting list due to certain problems with the menu items. It seems there might be some confusion about the situation, especially regarding Bezos' involvement. The issue appears to stem from supply or preparation challenges rather than any attempts by SpaceX. A clear misunderstanding exists—SpaceX is securing contracts independently and isn't interfering.

The Starlink waitlist has been growing for two years, and it might not perform as well as T-Mobile's 5G internet. Haha!

Evaluate the T-Mobile home internet option and assess its performance for you. If it doesn’t meet your needs, consider switching to Cox. Cox offers a wired connection which could provide better stability and lower latency. I’ve heard mixed feedback about the T-Mobile router—some mention issues like no port forwarding and frequent configuration resets, but others suggest improvements are coming.

The Cox service comes with high costs, slow uploads, unreliable support, and doesn’t make sense for most users. My mobile plan works fine, but I should verify if port forwarding is available so I can access my home network remotely.

Feedback indicates your setup on CGNAT lacks port forwarding options. A public IP might be available for extra fees. The stock gateway provided seems limited in these areas, and according to the documentation, you must rely on their gateway exclusively.

You may utilize IPv6 to link with your gadgets, though it requires IPv6 availability on the device beyond your local network. Alternatively, consider employing a VPN such as Tailscale or Zerotier.

A VPN adds extra costs. Free options tend to be less reliable. The optimal solution might be to lease a VPS and connect via its server. That still involves some expenses.

I placed an order for Starlink on October 21st and got it delivered on November 1st this year. It’s significantly improved compared to what my previous connection offered, especially since I live in an area where DSL is limited and 4G speeds are slow.

Please share your thoughts on the T Mobile route. We value feedback from this group compared to others. We’ve thought about switching to T Mobile internet ourselves, or using it as leverage with Comcast if their rates increase—though they haven’t raised ours in the past two to three years. Our current plan is strictly Internet-only, which might explain our decision.

@Donut417 - no worries. I'm stopping Cox. They charge promptly after three days since installation, especially when they were pressured to follow up. The representative on the line mentioned they'd waive the fee because of the issues, but they didn't. I'm canceling now. I have T-Mobile 5G and will share my thoughts in the next couple of weeks or less. Right now, I'm weighing my options while considering a move.
