You only connected one device because you thought it was enough, but it looks like you could have plugged both. It seems a bit odd to do that.

I'm testing my 10900K on an 8-pin setup so far—no crashes have occurred. I've adjusted it to about 200W during recording and 150W while streaming, but haven't noticed any issues. Checking the BIOS settings might help if problems persist. My R23 audio drop was only a few hundred points, and I'm now switching between tapes frequently in Davinci Resolve 18. It's performing well overall.

I understand CPU plugs can be tricky. I usually connect them first before placing the motherboard inside the case.
