Options for Corsair LPX DDR4 3600 are available!
Guys, is this all just marketing gimmick? It's so bleeding confusing, why not just sell me RAM advertised at 3600 that actually runs at 3600? There are many people on Amazon complaining that some of these 3600 RAM modules are not performing higher than 3200 on their system! Yet here's another one that runs at 3200 yet even more expensive. I'm in the same boat as the OP and need to find the best bang for buck RAM. As you boys seem to know what you are talking about, would appreciate some clarification on exactly what Corsair are playing at. Many thanks Edited July 10, 2020 by Proudarse Add more infor
Three distinct 3600 variations from the Corsairs website:
1. UK page with model PMK16GX4M2C3600C20
2. US page with model PMK16GX4M2Z3600C18
3. Another listing under the same model series
I gave up. I just purchased Corsair 3200 c16 for £60 with delivery. I hope the makers would be more honest about the speeds RAM can handle. From what I've read on forums and others, the 3200 cl16 seems similar to the 3600 cl19 (but around £25 less). I'm glad I made the right choice! Thanks everyone for your advice and support! Now I just need the 3300x models back in stock.
