Hello everyone, I apologize that my English isn’t perfect, but I'm doing my best.

In Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, I’ve adjusted some settings for enhanced visuals, and surprisingly, my frame rate hasn't decreased. However, certain options like shadows cause a significant drop in performance—around 10 frames per second.

Could you advise me on which settings to prioritize at maximum and which to set lower? I’m using a computer with modest specifications.

It’s not a simple matter. If the processor is restricting performance, adjusting game settings likely won't alter the frames per second. Conversely, if the graphics card is the bottleneck, raising most game settings will decrease FPS. Furthermore, your ideal frame rate might differ from what another person considers satisfactory—it’s generally best to experiment with individual settings yourself.

Pinpointing details requires understanding your elements. Broadly, there aren't precise configurations; you must determine the optimal values through experimentation and iterative testing.

There appear to be certain options that do not influence frame rate. My computer specifications are:

Windows 7 Ultimate
Processor: AMD E-350D APU with Radeon Graphics at 1.60 GHz
RAM: Samsung DDR4, 4 GB (3.61 usable)
Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 6310

The situation isn’t simple. If the processor is the bottleneck, adjusting game settings won't improve frame rates. Conversely, when the graphics card is limiting performance, raising most game settings will lower frame rates. Furthermore, what constitutes an acceptable frame rate is subjective and depends on individual preferences; experimentation with different settings is often necessary.
