If it suits you, that's acceptable. The PPT, TDC, and EDC configurations should fall under AMD Overclocking, and you'll need to turn on PBO even though you're trying to reduce them. My computer usage isn't strictly divided into rigid blocks like "today I'm gaming, tomorrow I watch videos," so Ryzen Master fits better for me. Yet that's a big advantage of computers: flexibility in how you use them.

For me, the thought of having to restart my computer just to adjust a setting feels unfair. When I’m in the middle of a game, and then I pause to watch videos or check emails, I’d rather skip the full reboot than waste time switching programs. I can easily reset everything with a single click, close Ryzen Master, and move on. My system boots quickly—about 20 seconds from restart to logging in, even without updates. Changing BIOS settings would be even slower, requiring manual steps that could take several minutes plus another reboot. It’s not just slow; it’s frustrating. But if you can get Ryzen Master working smoothly, it shouldn’t be this cumbersome.

I just got an NZXT B550, it's the latest model I installed. I created two profiles in the BIOS—one with the default settings, and another that saved my preferences. However, I didn't find any options for PPT, TDC, or EDC settings, but I did see an eco mode option with similar configurations.

I’ve turned off automatic updates because of the same problems with Radeon Adrenaline. This CPU is really powerful for me, coming from a 3600, but it’s too much for my needs. I switched to this after a flash deal made everything work better for VR streaming with LivCap. Just let me know if you need anything else!

If you don't require additional cores, turn off the extra cores, adjust it to 6 or 8, and disable SMT. Doing both will significantly cut power consumption, though it may impact boost performance.

before reaching that point i'm checking how the eco mode setup performs. it fluctuates between 45 and 60, but the latest cam report doesn't match what i expect. it's just running through my kraken cooler, so i'm limited in what i can observe.
