I've got the HD texture pack installed with GTX 970. Every time VRAM exceeds 3600MB, frame rate drops from 60 to 30fps. I used Ultra initially, but now VRAM spikes too high and the CPU is struggling. I set everything to high, but there are still occasional drops. My VRAM is now peaking at 3.6GB. Help?

Are you aware of the latest driver updates? This seems like something Nvidia would fix, especially since SoM is a significant issue. Also, the 970 and 955 models look interesting together.

It's current and I intend to upgrade my CPU eventually. Interestingly, the built-in benchmark performs well and delivers a solid 60fps on ultra settings.
