It’s going to be tough to exceed 3GB of RAM. I’m using a Ryzen 1600 and stuck at 2933MHz while my system supports up to 3200MHz. Going higher would likely cause crashes or BSODs.

It works, but you need to adjust the BIOS parameters. Otherwise, you risk crashes if you exceed the limits. 1st Gen Ryzen demands strict memory configuration.

I’m looking to upgrade the CPU later. Right now I can afford quite a lot of RAM, but I’d like to consider a higher-tier CPU if possible. I’m a bit unsure about compatibility.
