Optimize your Windows 11 Workstation for speed and reliability.
I recently upgraded to Windows 11 (Ryzen, 5900x) and found the system quite responsive. Programs such as Photoshop, Lightroom, and Capture One run much better and are more stable now. While performance gains aren’t huge, they’re definitely perceptible. It’s clear Windows 11 still needs some polishing, but it works reliably for my tasks. Gaming feels similar to Windows 10. The BIOS version is ComboAM4PIV2 1.2.0.5. Are others using Windows 11 with Adobe or other photo/video tools? Do you think the experience meets your needs? If yes, could you share your hardware details—CPU, GPU, and motherboard BIOS version? I currently use Windows 11 on a personal laptop that I don’t work with, but it seems to function well. I’m considering switching my workstation to Windows 11.
Functioning smoothly across all platforms, especially more responsive than W10.
I've been using Windows 11 on my Ryzen 7 since it was first released for public Insiders. The experience hasn't been great, and I still face some problems today. The AMD update really helped, but I often notice occasional stutters during regular Windows tasks. Playing Warzone has been quite challenging. I'm looking forward to better performance in the future, though there are days when it feels like rolling back is the only option.
