Windows operates according to the capabilities of your hardware. There’s no shortcut. To ease the strain on a slower system, consider these steps: Limit startup applications—aim for 2-3 items such as media players, OneDrive, or peripheral software. Use Task Scheduler to disable automatic updates and choose manual installations. For drives, perform a full defragmentation if using an HDD through tools like O&O defrag, which organizes files more efficiently. Avoid unnecessary cleanup of the registry; it’s simply restarting Windows. The registry stores system data and can slow things down with excessive entries—keeping it simple is key. Upgrading to an SSD can significantly boost performance. If your system supports UEFI, ensure you’re not using compatibility mode for old OS or hardware, which may require a complex repair. Also, enable Fast Boot and make sure your storage device is set as the first boot option.

I usually save my files before performing a full system reset. This speeds up Windows operation significantly. It can be time-consuming, but a fresh installation gives everything a fresh start.

I’ve already handled it, and of course I understand there’s no special trick—I’m not an idiot... My question was resolved by the person who linked me. Plus, she answered well with her own expertise.
