Well its been a few years since av been here. So hello again. Looking to leave intel for team red (again) and I need a little help before I spunk out a but load of cash. looking at this: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 3.7GHz 6 Core (Socket AM4) CPU HyperX Predator RGB 16GB (2x 8GB) 3200MHz DDR4 MSI MPG B550 GAMING PLUS AMD Mobo. MSI MAG CORELIQUID 240R CPU AIO Cooler. Is this a good system? I'll be using my RX 5700XT GPU I currently have, I5 4690K CPU MSI Z97-GD65 Mobo Corsair H100i GTX AIO 16GB (x4 4GB) HyperX savage DDR3 3200MHz

CPU is perfect for gaming and single-threaded, which I assume is the main use case of this pc. Don't really know much about the motherboard, so won't comment much on that.

The CPU is available, so I’m not worried about that. For cooling solutions, I favor AIO units; I was told Ryzens tend to overheat. No major issues there. I’ll install the DDR4 RAM just to consolidate everything under one provider (being lazy). The build will focus mainly on gaming. Thanks for checking with Downkey—he’ll take a look soon. I’m planning to try VR in the near future, but I’m not sure how to set it up there. Could be a separate thread about that later, probably.
