Hey there, thanks for checking this out. I’m around 20 fps max in CS GO with low settings, even after turning off MSAA. It’s still not great, so how can I boost my frame rate on this PC? I have an Intel i7-2600 non-K 3.6 GHz, 8GB RAM, Kingston 1333 MHz, Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, Direct X 11, an ATI Radeon HD 5450, a 1TB HDD, a PSU from Cooler Master, Elite Power 400W, and a GA Z68A motherboard. The monitor is a Samsung 2043 SW Plus with HDMI 10.1. Appreciate your help!

Choose a modern GPU such as the RX 460 or an older model similar to the 750Ti.

Your frame rate shouldn't be that low. You might want to upgrade your graphics card. With an AMD-FX 8120 and GTX1060, you're getting higher FPS at 4K compared to what I'm seeing. Even though my CPU isn't as fast, your GPU is performing better.

I understand, thanks. I’m thinking about getting the 1060 and will likely finish sooner than expected.
