I'm considering purchasing a NAS box for home backups and as a media server for devices like the R Pi, Xbox 360/Xbox One, and Media PCs. I also want to set up a personal cloud to sync files between my desktop and laptop, with the NAS acting as a reliable central hub. I'm leaning toward a Drobo 5N because of its simplicity and adaptability. For cloud software, Bit Torrent Sync is on my radar—I'll test it this weekend.
