I attempted to apply the 5-way optimization from ASUS on my 7940X in a gaming setup with an X299. The software took about an hour, and I was looking for a 4.5 GHz OC for better stability. My PC runs in just three minutes and restarts to Windows, but then it starts having issues—bluescreens all the time and can’t open any programs. Is the ASUS 5W tool really worthless or is something going wrong? I’ve tried this multiple times.

These auto-overclocking tools perform well. Expect smooth operation with no issues. Test a few more times if needed.

Initial attempt I made, but it was really poor... I can't even reach ASUS support because they seem like a bunch of clowns who've never helped me solve my issues.

Just kidding about those Auto OC tools—they’re really not worth it. The best way to overclock is to handle it yourself.
