I allowed my girlfriend to stream her shows on my Plex, but when I play games like Counter Strike, I experience lag spikes. She suggested lowering her video settings, which helped a bit but didn’t solve the issue. To prevent this, the best solution would be improving your internet speed.

The internet and Plex use Ethernet are unrelated concepts.

It really works. She's far away, but she streams from her phone, so I have to upload to her. It's not something else.

Oh, I believe they were adjusting the in-house settings to cap PLEX uploads at around 75% of your regular speed. It’s been a while since I used that feature.

Plex may not have built-in features for this, but third-party tools can handle it. It’s unclear how that would affect the stream example you shared.
