Hey! Got your setup—AsRock B550m Pro4 with Ryzen 7 5700X. You're looking to lower the voltage to cut down the heat, especially since it's running around 70°C at 40-50% load and not for gaming. Let me know if you want tips or steps for undervolting.

What kind of cooler is it, and when did you last swap out the thermal paste? Under what conditions does it perform at high temperatures? Did you adjust the fan curve settings?

UV improves performance at the same power level, not reducing temperatures. This could happen because of the relationship P=V*I—lower voltage leads to higher current for the same power, often causing current limits and thus lower actual power. If you tweak the current to maintain the same power point target, temperatures should stay consistent, which are theoretically tied to the PPT value.

I'm working with 240 mm AIO darkflash and grizzly kryonaut as my thermal paste. I'm encountering issues such as random restarts and blue screen errors related to memory management and watchdog violations.

5700X remains efficient even with low TDP. Check its temperature after 10 minutes of Cinebench runs. See if any overclocking is happening during a restart. Consider taking off the case panel to test further.
