Really, that's great. You also have a much better setup than me, though I think you've got around 100 mods, so it should be pretty similar.

In theory, it could be as quick as the speed boost, though that would likely mean about five times faster.

You can purchase a very affordable SSD, like a 16GB one, specifically for Minecraft. It makes all the difference between night and day, and it costs only about five beers (I think this helps with understanding prices!).
