Consider adjusting settings to prioritize gaming performance while using HandBrake in the background. For a CPU of 7900X, look into optimizing audio codecs and reducing background processing to let the game run smoothly.

Check if your project uses hardware encoding or software. You can adjust Handbrake’s priority in its Advanced options, though it will still have some effect.

Consider adjusting its priority in the task manager or assigning it to particular processor cores. Ideally, use a CPU with many cores—like a 16-core X3D processor with eight gaming and eight work cores—to better handle the workload.

You haven't used Handbrake recently. Using a CPU with built-in graphics might help shift the task there. Intel offers Quick Sync for encoding, and AMD has something similar named Video Core Next. It's good to check if they're included in Handbrake.
