Optimize CPU usage by setting affinity rules and adjusting configurations.
Hello everyone, We've been talking with both my DAW and audio interface makers about optimizing performance. They mentioned using CPU cores for specific programs to prevent interference during heavy use. According to the DAW maker, assigning cores can help Mixbus operate more reliably by connecting it closer to the soundcard interrupts. They also shared some tricks they use in their premium systems. My main question is whether we can identify which CPU cores are most directly linked to my sound card. Right now I'm using a RME UFX+ over USB 3.0. If we can determine this and allocate the right cores, I think we could boost efficiency, stability, and cut down on audio lag. Thanks in advance for your help.
