Optimization for Far Cry 4.
It seems similar to how Crysis 3 feels emotionally intense compared to Crysis 2, but not quite the same.
According to what the Ubi ex-dev mentioned, if a development team hasn't kept up with the game's updates, the release will happen no matter the situation. This means the game is likely to have bugs, look less polished than the trailers, and perform poorly. On the positive side, the game itself might be solid, but it will probably miss out on content and features because of limited development time.
Uncertain about hitting 270 frames per second. My 980 runs smoothly at ultra with 60-70 FPS.
It's a massive mess trying to get 270 at 70fps. (Sorry to the person who shared it, but...proof please or get out) The only way 270 could hit 70fps with Ultra is either because it's not using Ultra, or it's not running at 1080p. Maybe a heavy overclock or something like Ultra SMAA at 1080p gives 35-60fps (about 40-50 average). So 270 seems to be either not Ultra or not at 1080p.
It's still pending updates. The frame rate remains consistent whether I switch to ultra or low settings.
