It doesn't make sense to adjust the current limit. The CPU will automatically use the power it needs based on Intel's design. Setting an artificial restriction can negatively affect performance or lead to problems. Sticking with the default is safer and more reliable.
No reason to be sorry. Asking question is good Yes. Set it back to default. Current and wattage are not the same thing. Current X voltage = wattage. So if you have a phone charger that is a 1 amp charger, and charges at 5 volts (this is the usb standard) that is 5 watts of power. If you have a 2 amp 5 volt charger, that is 10 watts. With that explanation out of the way, devices only pull the power they need. A CPU will only draw the amount of current it needs, so even if the current limit was 10,000, it would still only draw whatever current it requires to operate. For your i3, I bet it will only ever draw maybe 80 amps at the most. Maybe less. But with that said, no reason to try and restrict it since it will only use what is actually needed. It’s not like the motherboard will “force” current at it. All your doing is putting up a limitation that doesn’t actually help anything. If you make it to low, you will either make the CPU crash as it tries to demand a certain amp draw and when it doesn’t receive it it crashes, or it will not receive the power it demands and dynamically underclock itself to keep it from crashing - either one of these isn’t exactly ideal… Just leave it on auto/default. Monitor your temps if your worried about it, but a 100 watt cooler should be plenty for an i3. Also…. It’s fine to be unsure about things and ask questions. But never go changing BIOS settings before fully understanding what your are doing. Google, YouTube, forums, and the internet in general are great learning tools; use them Then once you have a better understanding of what your going to change, you can make that change. But don’t change settings when you already know you don’t yet understand what the setting does. That’s just asking to break things. If you end up breaking something once you thought you understood it, well that’s part of learning. But changing a setting when you already know you don’t understand it, well that’s just not ever a good idea

So in this scenario, I left all the BIOS configurations on the B460 Tomahawk at their standard settings. Except for power limits, I adjusted them to 65W and 88W with a 28-second TAU setting (which was the default). I think I’ll revert them back to the automatic 225W setting.
