You're checking different channel configurations for your build. Most boards don't support quad channels, but some users claim better performance with four slots active. What do you think?

Even with four slots filled, the system doesn't necessarily operate in Quad Channel Mode. No motherboards offer Quad Channel support; they will still function in Dual Channel mode. The key distinction lies in the achievable frequency. On Daisy Chain boards (only two slots used), the DIMM frequency can be increased, whereas on T-topology boards (all four slots utilized), the maximum frequency remains uncertain. ASorkc confirmed a stable 3200Mhz on its x570 Taichi. For faster speeds, no testing is available yet, but it appears...

Not confirmed that any motherboard for the X570 platform meets this requirement. The latest discussion highlights that TRX40 motherboards fully support quad channel. https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/TRX40 Taichi/#Specification Moving forward to the thread ripper platform is recommended if quad channel is needed.

In short, if 32GB meets your requirements, choosing 2x16GB is just as good as 4x8GB. Considering your 3600MHz/CL16 setup, it makes sense to go with the configuration that fits your needs best.
