Hi everyone, I own two Asus routers connected via AirPort, but they often lose connection—especially when using Apple devices. I’m planning to invest in a new router for the next five years. I rely heavily on multiple Wi-Fi gadgets, streaming videos, and playing console games. I also have a small gym space where I connect many devices, including Zwift. Recently, I looked into Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E options, but I’m unsure which one suits me best. Would upgrading to 6E be worthwhile? My budget is around 550 USD, though I hope it can be lower after taxes and import fees. I really like the Asus setup but am open to other brands if they offer better performance. The router will be on the second floor and needs to cover about 140 square meters. Thanks for your advice! Best regards.

Likely not unless the 5 GHz spectrum is very congested in your area. Then those extra channels could add value—just make sure your clients can use them. If not, they won't help much. Generally, higher frequencies tend to offer shorter coverage.

Checking Amazon for routers like ASUS AX11000 and AX5300 makes sense. Comparing them with your NETGEAR Nighthawk AX4 WiFi 6, it’s good to weigh performance and features for your needs.
