Optimal Methods for Managing Fans - CPU and Chassis Fans.
Hello everyone, I'm just starting out on this site and needed some guidance about fan speed issues. I'm trying to figure out the best method for managing fan speeds, especially for my CPU fan. All fans are currently set to full speed at DC through Q-Fan Control because they use 3-pin connectors. At the same time, I've installed Corsair Link and AI Suite, which seems to be adding more complexity. I'm unsure if Corsair Link is handling some fans while AI Suite controls others. I'm looking for advice on how to keep things organized and optimize fan performance for better cooling.
Remove Corsair Link, it's a mess. AI Suite will handle it better. I used to have an H80i once. I don't recall the setup, but usually you connect the pump to the CPU opt and your fans to the CPU header. Use a splitter if needed. You can keep the CPU fan on AUTO in BIOS, and all other fans plugged into the motherboard headers. My rig runs quietly even during intense gaming sessions.
