Check the game settings for cloud options like Steam, Origin, or UPlay. If not synced automatically, use the official transfer tools provided by the publisher to move your games to a new PC.

Locate the save files, then copy them to a USB drive and move them over.

Certainly, but will it be identified as an installed app? And how can I tell which games are synced and which aren't?

Steam games usually sync automatically. Those that don’t require changes can be moved to another client and told where they are stored. Some older titles pose risks as your save data might disappear. By default, you’ll see which ones are compatible and which aren’t—just experiment. Uplay seems similar; Origin works for the BF series, but you mainly adjust your settings files. Other games typically keep their folders in the Documents folder under your user profile. Copying those often resolves issues. For some, hidden files might live in AppData folders—searching there can help locate saved data. If you can’t find something, try searching online; chances are you’ll discover backup options or ways to move files safely. What I’m certain about is that GFWL content isn’t recommended.
