Hey there, I'm checking in about boosting my RAM to 64GB. I'm a bit concerned my motherboard might not handle 2x32GB DIMMs. I haven't found much info online about whether my specific board and CPU can support that setup. I'd rather avoid the 4x16 option for cost reasons, so I'm wondering if anyone has any advice. Thanks!

Despite the spec indicating 64GB, it's possible to install 32GB modules from Corsair or similar brands to reach a combined 128GB of RAM.
This motherboard came out before solid-state drives over 16GB were common. Though pushing past 64GB seems ambitious (the processor wouldn’t handle it), I’m confident a 2x32GB or even a single 64GB drive would work.
The 2700x model accommodates more than 64GB of RAM. Refer to the link for details—it works well even with a B350. I’m uncertain about your motherboard, but others have successfully installed it on X470 systems, as shown in that example.

It looks like the details in your bios might not always match reality. If the card says it can't support more, it’s probably due to the maker not wanting to confirm it.
You have more memory capacity than what was confirmed. It seems like the manufacturer might have overestimated. If they validated 128GB, I’d expect it to support that amount. Or maybe it’s just an arbitrary figure from their team. Either way, it’s not ideal, so I’m focusing on 64GB. I’ll try a 2x32GB configuration.
