I'm preparing for an upcoming RPG game set in the future and am looking for a budget-friendly used 2-in-1 laptop on eBay. I need a Linux-based model with a modern-looking GUI that can handle PDFs and basic file operations without requiring advanced skills.

Few ideas come to mind for a futuristic GUI. Honestly, none really do. If you're building the game yourself, I suggest creating it from scratch. That's all I can suggest.

The interface in Linux works across different versions, allowing you to choose a distribution that fits your needs and install the desktop environment you prefer. All of them can be tailored extensively to match your style, which means there’s little reason to suggest one over another. For inspiration on what exists, these resources could help: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desktop_en...nt#Gallery, https://www.slant.co/topics/343/~best-li...vironments, and https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/best-linux...vironments.
