You're experiencing inconsistent performance with your grass setting, dropping to 40-50 fps in grass-heavy areas while staying steady at 60 fps in urban environments. This might be due to GPU load or driver issues. Checking optimal settings for GTA V on your GTX 780 could help. Your hardware specs look solid—consider adjusting game resolution, texture quality, and enabling higher refresh rates if possible. Let me know if you need further guidance!

The grass in GTA V puts a lot of strain on your system. I typically see 70-90 frames per second, but it drops to 45-60 fps when standing on grass. On ultra settings, it still works well, though Nvidia has a detailed performance guide explaining how different options affect both speed and visuals. You might want to look at it here: http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/guides/...ance-guide

I didn't try GeForce Experience for the best settings, yet I keep experiencing big FPS drops.

Sure, simplify everything and arrange it where you need it. Then gradually add more details.
