Have you considered updating manually via the BIOS using a USB drive or ASUS' EZ Flash Utility? I'm planning to sleep and won't get a response soon—please feel free to join me later if possible.

I used the EZ Flash Utility, but then I tried prime95 and the processor didn’t exceed the base speed of 4.2GHz.

Before updating, adjust your BIOS settings, turn off the OC tuner, and confirm PBO is activated as "Enabled" instead of "Auto."

Looks significantly improved. (I didn’t forward it, I got sidetracked by other matters)

You run Prime95 and it provides a detailed report of your system's performance metrics.

Accidentally removed my message before sending. It's strange but nice to notice the CPU is working more normally now. Next steps: restore BIOS to default and retest. If it passes, switch to D.O.C.P. in BIOS. This issue might indicate RAM problems or insufficient voltage for a CPU core.
