Last night I wondered what would happen if I simply changed my CPU and motherboard, since I realize my CPU isn’t powerful enough for my GPU anymore. The outcome surprised me so much it made me emotional. I think these websites are misleading when they claim bottleneck information, but honestly I was just testing a baseline. Below you'll find the image or details about the bottleneck situation—whether upgrading all components together would really improve things. Upgrades: CPU – Pentium G4560 → CPU Core – Ryzen 5 3600 → Motherboard – Gigabyte B250 M. DS3H → Graphics – MSI B450 Tomahawk Max GPU – EVGA GTX 1050 Ti → Graphics – Gigabyte GTX 1660 Super To ensure the system runs smoothly, I have ample RAM available.

It works fine if you only play at 3300x; its IPC and FCLK are excellent upgrades. Have you thought about the 5600xt? It's pricier but significantly better. If budget is tight, the 1660 super can still handle the task.

Despite the limitations of bottleneck calculators, I still accept their conclusion. I wouldn’t suggest upgrading just yet—unless you’re in a rush. New NVIDIA and AMD GPUs are expected in Q4 2020.

I don’t have funds for the 5600xt. I’ll also use it as a workstation since I can’t really edit videos on my current setup.

It looks like the 3600 is a significant improvement right now since its prices have dropped considerably.

For tasks beyond gaming, opt for the 3600 and 1660 super. If you're not playing, the 5500xt is worth thinking about mainly due to its larger frame buffer.

We were discussing the GPU, and the 3600 really shines when you can afford it (just a bit more than necessary for using it).

This website is built primarily to earn money from ads, not to assist with decisions about bottlenecks. It has many flaws and was even worse before. It seems designed by someone unfamiliar with bottlenecking and lacking expertise. The G4560 targets the 1050Ti, unlike newer Ryzen models which don’t. You’d see a significant improvement. Upgrade your setup, wait a few months for new GPU releases, and consider making a purchase.

No, a 1050 Ti does not prevent a 3600 from bottlenecking it.
