Checking the power output and overclocking potential of the 3900X is important. There are no major issues reported, but performance can vary based on cooling and BIOS settings.

This tier list doesn't quite cover a fully optimized 3900X with minimal airflow. The video discusses how it can manage a 3900X at standard settings, but only if adequate airflow is provided through the VRM.

You're thinking about purchasing the Be Quiet Pure Base 500DX, which includes three premium fans and uses the Dark Rock 4 cooling system with two additional fans. That sounds solid. Appreciate the recommendations! Smile

B550M Auros Pro features a CPU MOSFET with 10+3 4C10N / 1L 4C06, N Channel VRM type. Priced around 130$. If you prefer Gigabyte, consider the B550 (without M) Auros Pro for about 50 dollars more and get 12+2 Vishay SiC651C Mosfet DrMos VRM included.

I really like them, though unfortunately they're not accessible in my area for under $300.
