I’m aware this update has been out since early January, yet I didn’t get a chance to ask for opinions. You’ll notice some cool changes during the 1.1.4 patch, like the introduction of Classic Iron Banner Control 6v6 and new options in the crucible directory featuring Mayhem and Rumble, with Duo’s additions coming soon. I’m raising this because I recently stopped playing Destiny 2 and now find myself thinking about returning as a dedicated player, though it’s still a matter of debate. When 1.1.4 was released, it seemed to revive some endgame features—according to their post, Nightfall-specific gear would be added alongside the Emblems. In an ideal scenario, I’d love to see those areas integrated into Destiny 2, especially the Crucible Directory, new nightfalls/strikes, and the Iron Lords Temple Social space. I’m curious why it was removed initially—was it for upcoming expansions or DLCs, or did they just want to move on from Destiny 1? Regardless, this is pretty late, but I’d appreciate hearing your thoughts if the game has improved or if it’s been set aside.
