I've been playing Alien: Isolation with my Never Settle Bundle. I really enjoy it—it's my first game in the Modern Survival Horror genre, and I'm happy with it. The reviews were mixed, ranging from a 5.9 on IGN to a 9.3 on PCGamer, so I'm curious about your thoughts. What aspects do you like or dislike? Also, the game looks great on my new R9 280 with all the details.

game looks great I can even max it out with my 7850 and 3570K (ofcourse not with AA) but only thing that annoys me is the grain like filter in the game (that gives it movie like feel)

You can turn it off. I can achieve the highest performance, even with full AA. Still, I maintain over 60 FPS, though my resolution is just 1360X768.

I was just checking out this on Achievement Hunter—it seems really engaging. Plus, I wouldn't trust IGN's ratings; they often seem a bit misleading to me.

It can be misleading to look at things this way. Although I believe it's a decent game so far, I wouldn't say it's enjoyable. You invest a lot of time trying to dodge the alien, but I don't want to ruin the experience. Still, I wouldn't call it fun..

Sorry for the repeat, but did IGN actually say that?

I just heard it multiple times with that phrase, so I decided to use it for this one too.
