Opinion on Intel 4690k - 4.5Ghz Stats
Hello everyone,
I purchased a new cooler today for my CPU 4690K and would like your thoughts on my current stats.
My setup includes:
CPU: Intel 4690k - 4.5Ghz
Cooler: DEEPCOOL MAELSTROM 240T
Motherboard: Msi Z97 Gaming 3
Video: Gtx 970 Gaming1
Power Supply: COOLERMASTER G650M GM SERIES 650W MODULAR 80+ BRONZE
After an hour of Aida64 stress test (http://imgur.com/a/qfhn4)
Windows 10 Blue Screen WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR after playing 1:30 hours battlefield 1 this message shows up. What should I do?
If you want to maintain the same clock speed, first increase the vCore by a small amount. A vCore of up to 1.3 is safe for your CPU, and since you're not yet at 1.2v, you have plenty of room. Just monitor temperatures closely during this process.
Use AIDA64 for stress testing and include the GPU in the simulation. If the test fails, reduce the CPU multiplier slightly and retry.
Yes, it appears safe. You're well outside the high-risk area.

If you want to try maintaining the same clock speed, first increase the vCore by a bit. A vCore up to 1.3 is totally safe for your CPU, and since you're not even at 1.2v yet, you have plenty of room. Just watch the temperatures closely when you do this.
Use AIDA64 for stress testing and include the GPU in the test as well. If your system fails the test, reduce the CPU multiplier slightly and retry.
I loaded my last profile at 4.0Ghz and vCore Auto set to 1.112. It stayed stable for six months and I think it’s healthier for my CPU—lower temperature and lower voltage are better. Do you agree?
