Hi, I’m dealing with a strange issue. Occasionally, processes take an unusually long time to launch. For instance, opening new tabs in Chrome leaves them blank, even when I switch to another tab or app. The same goes for Task Manager—nothing appears until suddenly everything starts at once. It’s odd because other running tasks and loaded tabs still function normally. This happens regardless of the system specs you mentioned. Anyone know what might be causing this? It’s frustrating to deal with daily. Thanks!

Loading Windows or launching games usually isn't slow. A friend using an inexpensive SSD experienced issues where the drive failed after just a short time.

Boot and games are functioning fine. My ADATA is up, but Crucial takes a while to launch and occasionally doesn’t start at all—Task Manager shows no load even when it should. After that, everything I try to open launches simultaneously.

You've observed this behavior only when using a single drive, not when switching drives. Check the size and location of your pagefile.

I found a pagefile on one HDD, but it shouldn't be used. I attempted to switch it to automatic only for SSDs to check if it improves things.

The pagefile works even when your RAM is small. Some systems in Windows might cause issues if you turn it off, and certain programs like Adobe can also affect it. You might try changing the SATA cables instead.
