Consider upgrading to Windows 8 or 10 for better performance and security. Your current setup is solid, but newer OS versions offer improved compatibility with modern hardware and software.

Consider your needs before deciding. Windows 10 is compatible with most modern laptops, but newer models may require specific versions for optimal performance. Check your device's specifications to ensure it supports the version you choose.

After two years with Win 10 Support, I'm concerned it might affect device performance. That's why I was thinking about headaches.

7 remains the most reliable option, while 10 offers a cleaner appearance but requires you to manage your system differently.

It will work smoothly with Windows 10. The version 10 is very similar to 7, making it a clear choice over older options like Win8.

I encountered some problems with my laptop, so I considered installing a fresh Windows version. I wondered if upgrading would help, but I think I’ll just reinstall Windows 7 again.

It's uncertain whether switching from Windows 7 to 10 would affect your game performance, especially regarding lag or similar issues.

When setting up a new installation, trying out Windows 10 is perfectly fine. If you're not satisfied with it, you can always revert to an earlier release like Windows 7.

Remember that all assistance is canceled on December 31, 2017 for Windows 7. I think the free transition from Win7 to Win10 vanishes at the same date too.
