Have you checked if any storage devices lack an operating system?

I don’t have a prior build or context about the specific error you’re encountering. Could you provide more details about your setup, recent changes, and the steps you took before reaching this point? This will help me better understand what led to the issue.

I assembled the new computer, configured the BIOS, then began installing Windows. The installation reported an error stating "Windows cannot install required files" and I ended up closing the program.

That's the issue. Windows isn't installed yet, so it can't run the necessary files.

This means the system couldn't find the necessary files to proceed.

It's possible your boot device is configured incorrectly in the BIOS. If you have multiple drives—such as a boot drive via NVMe and a storage SSD—remove the storage drive, install Windows, and then focus on the boot drive.

You just put Windows 10 back on your flash drive, but it’s not functioning properly.
