You must decide between Windows Server 2008 and Server 2012. The latter versions are likely outdated, particularly the 2003 release.

I discovered a version named Windows Home Server 2011, but I'm uncertain if it's superior or inferior to the 2008 R2.

Windows Home Server is designed for homes and small businesses, which means it doesn’t have all the advanced features you might find in other systems. It’s been a while since I’ve looked into the various versions of Windows Server.
