Operating System for Home Server
Operating System for Home Server
I might have misinterpreted your point. What I meant was that for someone new, using a Windows server in a Windows network is simpler—sharing folders is just a matter of enabling it in its properties. Remote access is straightforward too. I previously managed a Linux home server and used a CentOS VPS, which I’ve now switched to a Raspberry Pi. It’s my mistake to imply that server applications are only for specific platforms. I was mainly talking about running software in general. I also recommended Linux instead of Windows.
