Hello everyone, I've observed that my PC has become sluggish unexpectedly. Even when nothing is running, the SSD usage reaches 100%. I checked the temperature and errors using TeamGroup's S.M.A.R.T tool. I performed five tests over different days and times, suspecting possible issues with the results (see links). After reinstalling Windows 10 with a full format, I noticed the performance dropped significantly, prompting another test. All metrics—Current, Worst, Threshold—were consistent, and the temperature remained stable. This was unusual since I had good results initially. I’m wondering if this could indicate a hardware problem, and how to verify it without assuming failure. The SSD model is TEAM T253X2512G.
The tool offers a feature labeled "optimizing," which is essentially a trim function.
Verify the SSD using Hard Disk Sentinel. Review benchmark results, such as CrystalDiskMark performance data.

I recommend avoiding the IOBit Driver booster, as I find their products quite intrusive within the system and the narrative they present. Updating SATA controller drivers might be beneficial, though... The specifications clearly indicate that SATA status must be SATA III or SATA6G; otherwise, read performance won't be possible. Writing specs for an SSD seems a bit underestimated, but I’m not familiar with Team products, so it appears to be accurate for this device. At first purchase the SSD performed very well in speed and temperature, but now consistently measuring 46°C during tests seems off. I think the actual readings might be different.
