Hey there, I saw you upgrade from Ryzen 5 2600x to Ryzen 7 3800X recently. When you installed it, you noticed it getting quite hot even when idle. The cores would jump to 44x and 45x at 1.4V, which made your fans spin faster and raised the temperature. Some people shared tips using Windows power settings, while others experimented with PBO for better long-term fixes. Do you have a simpler solution in mind? Thanks a lot!

Upgrade your BIOS, reset all settings back to their best defaults, and spend $30 on a Dark Rock Slim.
