Hello, I’m preparing to purchase a board (H410M PRO-VH) that supports RAM up to DDR4 2666 MHz. I intend to use Corsair Vengeance Lpx 16GB DDR4 3000MHz RAM. Will there be any issues with XMP, or will the RAM automatically reach 2666 MHz? If not, can I manually set it to that speed? Thanks for your assistance.

Setting XMP triggers it to operate at 2666Mhz, as 3000Mhz is prohibited. You may adjust it to a maximum of 2666Mhz, but XMP will handle the setting automatically.

Avoid XMP, it should operate up to 2666. Each RAM includes a JEDEC stepping, so it will function at the level it supports.
