In short, I’m tired of Wi-Fi’s unreliability. I don’t like using crimpers, and my pre-drilled hole from Comcast isn’t great (though the TV works after connecting the cable). I just need a long Ethernet cable, a drill bit, and maybe some silicone. I’ll have to go through the wall and the hole will be behind my desk.

If the holes are big enough for the RJ-45 connector, you can install a pre-wrapped cable. It's best to purchase a cable designed for outdoor use to prevent damage from weather conditions.
