I recently set up Windows 8.1 and everything functioned properly until I restarted after updating the video drivers. Now, upon launching, it opens the blue Windows 8 logo instead of the login screen. I've tried various video drivers, but the problem persists. The only solution so far is booting into safe mode, which then returns to the grey screen when I restart.

Remove every driver at a time and reinstall one until you identify the problematic one. Avoid installing all drivers simultaneously. The cause of the problem will require you to eliminate or replace the faulty driver version.

You're experiencing the same issue repeatedly. After trying the Windows driver and installing Google Chrome, you've faced difficulties accessing Windows. The problem seems consistent across different attempts.

On startup in Windows 8, the only driver I installed was the video driver, causing issues after a restart. I tested three other drivers, but none worked properly.

Have you checked older versions? It might be a problem with the newest update that impacts you.
