Looking for ways to eliminate the command bar in File Explorer. I've searched various methods but haven't found a solution yet. OldNewExplorer is trying to swap the ribbon menu with a command bar, but it doesn’t seem to work. Resource Hacker didn’t help either. I’m worried I might have missed a step, so I’ve repeated every tutorial I found. Do you know any tips or tricks to remove it? Thank you!

Start by disabling the ribbon which restores the old command bar. Then follow this guide to eliminate the command bar. https://www.askvg.com/how-to-make-folder...ows-vista/ Modify the shellstyle.dll of your theme for a cleaner look.

Thanks for the advice, but it didn’t help for me anymore. I’m going to give up now.
